Introduction
This learning collaborative is for behavioral health providers, clinicians and directors who are treating patients with chronic pain in integrated care settings. The learning community will support and guide the utilization of evidenced based behavioral health interventions to more effectively treat chronic pain.
Participants will:

Explore how integrated care teams are the ideal structure to effectively treat chronic pain

Learn and understand the different types of chronic pain and why behavioral health is critical to treating central sensitization pain (CSP)

Identify, address and treat substance use disorders as a co-occurring condition
-
Learn and utilize evidenced based practices such as:

Motivational Interviewing

Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Mindfulness
-
Measurement Based Care
-

Discuss operational and care delivery models that effectively support patients and providers

Develop Policies and Procedures for treating chronic pain

Elevate and utilize integrated care team strengths to treat chronic pain
